Mahfel Huq & Co. was established in 1974 by Mr. Howlader Mahfel Huq as a sole-practitioner accounting firm — becoming the first accounting firm registered in independent Bangladesh.
In 2002, the firm was converted into a partnership through a merger with Abu Mohammad Kaiser & Co., while retaining its original name and heritage.
